Celebrating 10 Years Of STLS

This year marks the 10th birthday of STLS. We are proud to have served our community of thousands: from Theatres, Schools, Music Artists, Weddings, and small and large community projects as well as other businesses in the industry.

History

A quick bit of history: STLS itself started out of our then young 21 year old MD Sam’s bedroom in the spring of 2011. Sam had been providing mobile discos with growing equipment from a very young age, Sam had another growing love technical theatre and had completed his studies at Kingston Collage. Bringing his knowledge, love and enthusiasm of technical equipment mixed with his DJing contacts the name & concept STLS was born. The vision at the time is still very much the same as it is now and that’s to provide quality technical equipment while giving exceptional customer service.

It goes without saying a lot has change over the last 10 years. With advances in technology, full time members of staff, 1000s of items of stock, changes in the economy and of course COVID 19 pandemic. STLS proudly has continue to ride the COVID storm with the thanks of its continued support of its team especially Lewis our hire coordinator and first full time member of staff not forgetting Richard & Pat who have been around STLS since the early days.

We would like thank every single one of our customers who have played a part in our journey over the last 10 years. We massively look forward to growing STLS to the next level and can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.
