The DDJ-SX2 is a Serato-driven controller in one box: laptop required, all controls integrated. A CDJ setup (e.g. CDJ-3000 or CDJ-2000NXS2 with DJM mixer) plays files from USB sticks without a laptop and is the club-standard setup. Use the DDJ-SX2 for laptop DJs and venues without permanent CDJ rigs; use CDJs for the club night standard.
