Staging an event at the Olympic Park presents a unique set of challenges, not the least of which was the limited ‘get in’ timeframe. The time constraint meant STLS had to ensure a seamless setup that didn’t compromise on the grandeur of the event.
To navigate these challenges, STLS mobilized an army of skilled crew members, guided by Danny Finch as project manager. Their mission was to synchronize each move, ensuring a smooth transformation of the space within the stipulated timeframe. Leveraging their expertise and cutting-edge technology, STLS deployed:
- 2 expansive LED walls
- Moving lighting from industry leaders like Martin, Ayrton, Prolight Concepts & Chauvet
- The visually striking P6s from SGM
- High-fidelity audio systems, with Nexo Line arrays, Martin Audio setups, and Allen & Heath consoles
The gear; ensuring the highest sound & lighting quality
The meticulous planning and execution paid off grandly. Black Pride 2023 stood as a testament to the most technologically advanced setup in its history. The integration of superior audio-visual equipment ensured the event was not just an auditory delight but also a visual spectacle.
Feedback from Proud Events and Black Pride echoed the sentiment of satisfaction and admiration for STLS’s production prowess. The resounding success of the event has solidified STLS’s reputation as a production giant that delivers beyond expectations, even under tight constraints.
